Recommendation: 
Place the intended plant in its plastic pot directly in the Archiella pot. When watering, remove the plastic pot and water it separately even when its waterproof. No danger of water getting on the rattan but not too much.

The pot could also be used as a candle lantern (smallest/piccolo model) or to store other things close to your heart, if you prefer. If used as a candle lantern, please always be careful not to leave candles unattended and away from young children.
